Electric and upright bassist for hire with 45 years of experience in all styles.
Returned to Minneapolis - grew up here, left in the mid 80's and now back to claim a spot in the music scene I grew to love.
I was asked to join Erin McCawley’s Harrison Street Band. What an honor! See the NEWS page for more details. We’ve got some great shows coming up.
I fill the rest of my calendar with private students, podcast production, and freelance gigs throughout the Twin Cities area.
Prior to returning to Minneapolis, I was in Champaign-Urbana co-founding the acoustic folk rock Woke Mountain Boys, a Stones tribute Voodoo Exiles, the Dead / Young / Dylan / Americana-inspired original space cowboy ensemble Silverweed, and Western Swing / Django-infused trad jazz unit Django Wrangle.
